What is Dental Bonding?

Dental Bonding is a procedure by which composite resin material closely matching the color of the patient’s teeth is adhered to the tooth to cosmetically enhance its appearance and color. A curing light, either ultraviolet rays or a laser beam is used to harden the resin.  It takes about 60 to 90 minutes to perform.

There is no preparation required for bonding and the procedure is pain free. No anesthesia is required unless the dentist feel there is the need to perform some drilling.
